Surgical Services Technician

Contract | 13 Weeks | Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technician support during evening shift hours in a surgical services setting
• Assist surgical teams in the operating room throughout the duration of the contract assignment
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of labs and orientation modules
• Complete a Pass/Fail clinical exam as required for clearance prior to starting (up to 3 attempts permitted)
• Fulfill holiday requirement: expected availability on Christmas Day from 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
• BLS and CPR certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of surgical experience required
• PA Fingerprints required; must be completed within 1 week of signing contract
• PA Childline clearance required; if not obtained within the past 12 months, must be initiated immediately upon signing
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the travel rate; candidates within 50 miles are subject to a local rate differential

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Strong ability to meet pre-start compliance deadlines, including labs completed within 48 hours of signing
• Flexibility to accommodate orientation and module completion requirements
