CAD Technician IIIThe CAD Technician III is a senior-level role responsible for leading the development and coordination of production models and erection drawings for precast concrete projects. This position ensures accuracy, maintains project flow, and collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality standards. The role also provides leadership through project oversight, problem-solving, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.Starting wage is $35.00-$45.00 an hour. They are a collaborative leader and mentor who communicates effectively across teams and partners, adapts to evolving project demands, and consistently drives best-in-class outcomes.Ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GED required; 2–4 year drafting degree preferred4+ years of related drafting experience; precast experience preferredProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant softwareStrong ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and erection drawingsSolid math skills and ability to visualize assembly of materials and componentsProven problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently and independentlyEffective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholdersStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsAbility to meet deadlines and perform in fast-paced, schedule-driven environmentsSelf-motivated, adaptable, and open to change, with a willingness to learn products and continuously improveOccasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needs.Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field.Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed.Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas.May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards.May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
