Automotive Sales Consultant
As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Steve Schmitt Ford, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional car-buying experience to our customers in Highland, IL. You will use your passion for cars and strong customer service skills to guide buyers through the sales process and help them find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally as they enter the dealership.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits to customers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles to meet those needs.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and financing options to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, and promotions.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive products and current industry trends preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
