Retail Store Manager

Responsible for all facets of the Store, including but not limited to Customer Service, Daily Operations, Visual Merchandising, Inventory Management, Personnel Management, Training, Loss Prevention and executing of company Policy & Procedures. The Store Manager is responsible for all store employees, their training, reviewing and evaluation. The prime responsibility is that good customer service is maintained while maximizing store sales and profitability. Make sure the store is properly set up at all times; promotion and pricing are correct. Will also keep control on wages as well as expenses. This position ensures that all housekeeping and cleaning duties are performed daily, ensures stockroom and fixtures maintenance. Will also be responsible for the work schedules, preparing reports on daily sales and receipts. This position also ensures that all loss prevention policies and procedures are followed and that all Associates are properly trained in terms of loss prevention. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the location is open and operating during regular and scheduled business hours. Maintaining employees store scheduling and assignment. Meet sales goals, train, motivate, mentor and provide feedback to sales staff. File and record daily sales and bank deposit slips, ensures the POS terminal is open correctly for business, ensures transactions are processed and recorded correctly, also that POS terminal is correctly closed. Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service. Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards. Immediately addresses customers’ needs (complaints, grievances, etc.). Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements. Responsible for following procedures for receiving, transferring and maintaining inventory integrity. Maintains a constant vigilance in preventing shoplifting as well as fraud related problems. QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate--college preferred--with at least two years retail sales experience. Strong skills with math and understanding of general POS system. Must pay attention to details. Proficient in Microsoft Office and broad range of computer skills - database, spreadsheet and business-related system.
