Diversified is seeking a reliable and motivated Sit-Down Forklift Operator & Metal Assembler to join our production team. In this dual role, you will safely operate a sit-down forklift to move raw metal materials and finished goods, while also using hand and power tools to assemble metal components according to blueprints. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and values safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Hours: 8a-5pm - Mon- Fri

$21/hr temp to perm

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and stage heavy metal materials.

• Assemble metal parts and structures using blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.

• Utilize hand and power tools including drills, grinders, rivets, and torque wrenches.

• Inspect finished products for quality defects, alignment issues, or structural flaws.

• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning materials and logging movements in the system.

• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols at all times.

• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards to ensure a safe production floor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

• Assembly Skill: Prior experience in metal assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Tool Proficiency: Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand and power tools.

• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret basic blueprints, structural drawings, or work orders.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for long periods.

• Certification: Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to get certified on-site).
