Job Description
The Retail Staff Pharmacist plays a critical role in ensuring safe and effective medication use by counseling patients, reviewing prescriptions, and overseeing pharmacy operations. This position demands adherence to regulatory standards while providing excellent customer service and supporting overall health and safety within the retail pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate daily activities
- Monitor health and safety protocols within the pharmacy
- Manage medication therapy to optimize patient outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in pharmacy practice
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm)
- Licensed Pharmacist
- Experience in medication management
- Strong skills in patient counseling
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management skills
