Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-oriented Sales Consultant to help drive growth within the residential and light commercial construction markets. In this role, you will develop new business opportunities while building and maintaining strong partnerships with builders, contractors, developers, and other industry professionals.

Your Role:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, general contractors, remodelers, property managers, and other industry professionals.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, jobsite visits, referrals, and strategic prospecting efforts.
• Maintain a high level of daily sales activity, including face-to-face customer meetings, job site visits, office appointments, and prospecting calls.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospect identification and initial contact through project completion and customer retention.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing product expertise, recommending solutions, and identifying opportunities to create value for customers.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales growth objectives.
• Inspect job sites during the sales process, identify potential safety concerns, and communicate company safety expectations and programs to customers.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and commitment to driving business growth.

Travel Requirements:

• Local travel within the assigned market is expected.
• Approximately 50% of time will be spent traveling to customer locations, job sites, and business meetings by car.
• A car allowance is provided.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Occasional evening and weekend availability may be needed to support customer and business needs.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-3 years of sales experience within the building products, construction, or related industries, preferably calling on residential or commercial builders, contractors, or developers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required if operating a vehicle for company business purposes.
• Ability to work safely and maintain awareness in active construction and jobsite environments.
• High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience in construction, building products, home improvement, roofing, exterior products, or related industries is preferred.

• Ability to develop trusted partnerships and deliver positive customer experience.

Compensation Range $30,000.00 - $250,000.00
