For more information, visit .DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLift material onto machines, manually or with a hoistDocument production numbers on a board at station.Review purchase orders with manufacturing details, design specifications, and assembly instructions to ensure work is performed according to specificationsCut and strip wires according to specificationsAssemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using pneumatic drills, drivers, rivets, bolts, glue, soldering or micro-welding equipmentPosition, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assemblyPack finished assemblies for shipment and place on pick up line for distribution using tape dispenser and safety box cutterFabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by handRead testing device to ensure quality of productShovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work stationsQualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to lift up to 40lbs.Remain standing for an extended period of time up to 8 hoursAble to perform with constant movement of the armsPosition Criteria:PERFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESKnowledge:Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools.Design - Knowledge of tools, drawings, and models.Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic and its application.Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processing, and quality control.English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Skills:Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.Mechanical Skills - Comfortable working with machines and have a good understanding of the machines and how their parts work.Abilities:Number Facility - The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Finger Dexterity - The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.Near Vision - The ability to see things at a close distanceVisual Color Discrimination - The ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
