Dental Billing Specialist

To support a growing practice, the full-time remote Dental Billing Specialist will manage the processing of insurance claims, ensure the collection of outstanding balances, and collaborate with various teams to provide updates on patients' insurance information. Key responsibilities Ensuring the complete collection of all outstanding balances and presenting accurate claims within 24 hours following the audit process Conducting follow-ups on aged claims at 14-day intervals and reducing the insurance aging over 90 days to zero Collaborating with the surgical team, verification team, and patient coordinators to relay updates regarding patients' insurance information Required qualifications Two years of experience in the dental field, including familiarity with relevant terminology Dental billing experience preferred, particularly within the last eight months Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel Capable of self-direction and establishing goals while working autonomously Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AZ, FL, ID, NV, TN, TX, UT
