Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; Rotational Saturdays, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Duration: 3+ Months
Job Summary:
Seeking a Patient Services Representative I with at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen processing, patient interaction, data entry, and maintaining accurate documentation while following safety and confidentiality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)
- Strong venipuncture skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, and WA)
- Basic keyboard/data entry skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed
