Administrative Secretary

Olentangy Local Schools is currently looking for an Administrative Secretary in the New Student Welcome Center.

The NSWC secretary shall be responsible for the general office operations and secretarial responsibilities for the NSWC. These duties include the registration and enrollment of students, preparation of reports, the scheduling of appointments, and collaboration with all school buildings and departments.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Secretarial training, knowledge of general office procedures, extensive computer training, at least two years of administrative secretary experience
• Alternative to the above qualifications as the superintendent and/or board of education may find appropriate

Internal candidates (currently employed by the Olentangy Local School District) must submit an internal online application in SchoolSpring.

External candidates must submit an external online application in SchoolSpring and complete an online Support Candidate Assessment. Applicants may revisit their online application at any time to make necessary additions or changes.

The online Support Candidate Assessment is sent via a link under separate email cover. On occasion, the email may end up in junk or spam mail. If so, the link will be titled "Do Not Reply" with the subject "Regarding your Olentangy Local Schools application". Keep in mind that the assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed.
