Maintenance MechanicWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support the safe and efficient operation of a power plant facility. This role is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment critical to plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, experience in industrial environments, and a commitment to safety and reliability.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, turbines, conveyors, and boilersTroubleshoot mechanical failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize downtimeConduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules and proceduresInspect machinery for wear, damage, or potential failure and document findingsAssist with installation, alignment, and calibration of new or rebuilt equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsMaintain accurate maintenance logs and work ordersFollow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and plant proceduresCollaborate with operations and electrical teams to ensure smooth plant performanceAdditional Requirements:Must possess a valid Louisiana Driver's LicenseMust be able to pass a pre-employment background check
