Key Responsibilities Provide individualized nutrition counseling to patients, considering their medical and psychosocial history.
Develop and implement customized nutrition plans to support weight loss and overall health.
Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate patient progress.
Assist with dietary adjustments based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and nutrition plans in the EMR.
Educate patients about the role of nutrition in weight management and disease prevention.
Perform phlebotomy and EKG as part of patient assessments.
Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential (Required).
Experience in phlebotomy and EKG (Required).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Passion for health and wellness and personally living a healthy lifestyle.
About the Role
The Dietitian/Nutritionist will ensure each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and knowledgeable environment. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, answering questions regarding the Medi-Weightloss program, and assisting with laboratory order forms and patient laboratory results. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the clinic.

Pay Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 hours per week
