Diagnostic And Interventional Radiologist

The Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist:

Preferred Experience: 1) Board-eligible or board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and current with MOC; 2) ACGME DR/IR certified; or 3) IR fellowship-trained diagnostic and interventional radiologist.

The Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist:

-interprets radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies

-performs basic and advanced image-guided procedures (CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages, percutaneous biliary and urologic tube insertions and exchanges) only during weekday hours; there is no IR call (no nights, weekends, or holidays).

-participates in multidisciplinary clinical and educational conferences, quality management activities, and institutional committees

-maintains specialty education and basic or advanced life support certification.

On-Call Responsibilities:

-Diagnostic radiology: Back-up support for teleradiology, currently a one-in-five rotation.

-Interventional radiology: No call.

LOCATION: The Ocean State combines historic urban centers with college town vibes and accessible coastal living. Green International Airport is a twenty-minute drive from most points in Rhode Island. Pay and Benefits:

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
