This opportunity is located near Great Barrington, MA, and calls for dedicated Special Education Teachers ready to make a real impact in substantially separate classroom settings. Multiple full-time openings are available, focusing on primary (K-1st) and upper elementary (3rd-5th) grades. Classrooms serve students with profound cognitive and physical disabilities, including those who are non-verbal and some on the autism spectrum. You'll work in a collaborative environment alongside therapists, related service providers, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who assist some students directly.

Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience delivering specially designed instruction and applying applied behavior analysis methods. Comfort with providing toileting support and meeting substantial daily living needs is essential.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility) for the required grade levels
• Experience supporting students with significant cognitive and physical disabilities
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis and specially designed instruction preferred
• Ability to adapt instructional materials to meet individual learning needs
• Commitment to supporting non-verbal communicators and students on the autism spectrum
• Team-oriented, flexible, and compassionate approach
• Willingness to provide toileting and personal care as part of daily support
• Onsite attendance required; open to travel educators
