PART-TIME REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST Tree City Family Dental is looking for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist for WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY! We are a privately owned 2-doctor practice near the heart of Boise. Our office has been open for 20+ years and has a very loyal patient base where we have multiple generations of families that come see us! We are passionate about quality patient care and working as a cohesive in-office team. Our practice is in the process of expanding our building and adding another provider. We are steadily growing and want somebody that will grow with us! Pay $42~$49 per hour Salary Details Compensation is competitive for rates in the Treasure Valley and BOE (based on experience). Part-time employees are eligible for dental care and selective holiday pay after 30 days of employment as well as participating in our bonus program after 90 days. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Basic life support Driver’s license Licensed dental hygienist Local Anesthesia Certification Nitrous Oxide Certification X-ray / Radiography Certification We are looking for a well-rounded hygienist that works with our doctors to ensure the best treatment for our patients regarding periodontal health, caries risk, and airway health. Preventative care is crucial for the health of our patients and we are looking to add a team member that can help create that value and understanding for our patients. Job Description Be familiar with restorative treatments the practice provides Greet and seat patients Make a personal note regarding the patient’s life to review at future appointments Expose radiographs including pariapical, bitewing, CBCT and panoramic images. Take quality Intraoral Camera Photos Evaluate gingival health and health of all oral tissues Perform oral cancer exam Administer nitrous oxide and oxygen Classify patient’s periodontal condition Scale, polish, and apply fluoride Perform periodontal soft tissue curettage Perform Root Planing and professional use of ultrasonic equipment Adjunctive therapies as indicated Periodontal probing and charting of oral conditions Complete periodontal consultations, refer out to specialist per practice protocols Application of pit and fissure sealants Administration of local anesthetic Take digital impressions for diagnostic and opposing models Application of non-aerosol and non-caustic topical agents Removal of post-extraction and periodontal dressings Removal of excess cement from subgingival surfaces of teeth Benefits Bonus pay Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Compensation is competitive for rates in the Treasure Valley and BOE (based on experience). Jobley Bonus: $90 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule We are looking to add a 4th hygienist to Wednesday and Thursday from 8am-5pm with a one hour lunch.
