Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Security in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry, provide directions, and support a professional environment for patients and guests.
• Assist with security-related escorts, de-escalation support, and other assigned duties while following Allied Universal standards and location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital positions require compliance with applicable vaccination requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
