Investor Relations Associate

Sagard's US Wealth team is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join its investor relations team in New York City. The role offers meaningful exposure to fundraising strategy, investor engagement, and wealth platform development initiatives.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role with broad exposure across the investor lifecycle, including direct interaction with Financial Advisors and home office professionals in the private wealth channel, as well as involvement in fundraising efforts and development of investor communications and reporting. This role will require the coordination of day-to-day trade processes between third-party service providers and our investors. You will work cross-functionally across both the US Wealth team and the broader Sagard platform, partnering with investment, operations, compliance, accounting, and IR teams to support key initiatives. The role requires taking ownership of projects from inception through completion, synthesizing complex information into clear insights, and collaborating closely with senior leadership in a non-hierarchical environment that emphasizes mentorship and professional development.

Compensation range: USD$115,000 to $140,000.

Discretionary annual bonus: $10,000 - $30,000.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with other members of the US Wealth Team, investment analysts, operations team, and compliance to complete prospective and current investor RFP, RFI, and DDQ requests and develop a formalized process for completion.
• Collaborate with the broader IR team to implement and leverage AI tools to enhance workflows, including RFP writing.
• Develop a cohesive record-keeping strategy for ease of reference for future RFP, RFI, and DDQ responses and SEC examinations/audits.
• Collaborate with internal team members as needed to facilitate timely and accurate responses to all incoming investor inquiries and requests.
• Partner with Managing Directors, investment analysts, operations team, and compliance in the production of fund quarterly letters, annual reports, and additional marketing presentations as needed.
• Help maintain accurate records of key client meetings, including logging post-meeting notes and correspondence in DealCloud CRM.
• Manage ongoing updates of all fund and firm-wide marketing and legal materials in Intralinks data rooms.
• Assist in planning and execution of quarterly investor update calls, annual Investor Conference, roadshows, and ad-hoc LP updates or events.
• Support onboarding of new investor relationships, subscription documents, AML/KYC, and capital call processes for new and existing LPs.
• Support ongoing trade reconciliations and relationships with relevant intermediaries, including CAIS, iCapital, and custodians.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant full-time experience in investor relations, marketing, or client communications within the investment industry
• Experience in writing RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs a must
• Experience with one or more of the following programs: Subscribe, Intralinks, Seismic, or DealCloud
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience in Google Workspace a plus
• Experience with alternative investment products, such as private credit or private equity a plus
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at once while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree
