Junior Buyer

Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in searching for a Junior Buyer (temporary) in Leominster, MA. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with the potential for permanent hire — and enjoy a 4-day work week! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their purchasing career with a company that is expanding.
Pay: $25-$27/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
• Updating and maintaining purchase orders
• Expediting materials and resolving shortages for production
• Processing purchase requisitions
• Updating supplier information based on shipping notifications
• Obtaining pricing and lead times for RFQs
• Processing defective material and debit memos
• Providing administrative support to the purchasing team
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Planning, or similar field
• Experience with MRP systems such as Oracle preferred
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail skills
• Proficiency with MS Windows
