Registered Nurse - Birthing Center / Labor & Delivery - Day Shift

As a Labor & Delivery RN , you'll play a vital role in the care of expectant mothers and newborns, providing expert support before, during, and after delivery.

This full-time day shift position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where experience is valued, and every birth is treated with care and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Active Indiana RN license or Multi-State License (NLC) required
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (training provided)
Minimum of 2 years of Birthing Center or Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

What You Will Do:

Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Assist with monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and interpreting fetal monitoring
Support OB/GYNs and providers during labor and birth procedures
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records
Deliver compassionate, family-centered care in line with best practices and safety protocols
Participate in a rotating schedule of weekends and holidays
