Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Days

Location

Dothan, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit under a day shift schedule
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the assignment facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
