Automotive Staff Accountant

What You'll Own Manage journal entries, general ledger accuracy, and account reconciliations with precision Reconcile and post bank statements, monthly finance reserves, and GS statements Prepare for and respond to internal and external audit requests Process product cancellation refunds for customers and lienholders Accurately process lease buy-backs and dealer trades Review multiple dealership schedules monthly and make necessary corrections Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Cross-train in Accounts Receivable and Billing to provide backup coverage as needed Ensure accurate financial processing, timely reporting, and compliance with internal policies Take on additional responsibilities assigned by leadership as the role evolves Requirements What You Bring to the Table 3-5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience preferred - this is a must!
