Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Position Details:
Title: Advanced Practitioner Provider (NP/PA)
Client: Johns Hopkins University
Facility: Mack Truck/Volvo Facility
Location: Macungie, PA 18062
Duration: 03 Months to Long-Term
Schedule: Standard Shift (40 Hours/Week)
Pay Rate: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Administer OTC and prescription medications per standing orders.
• Perform onsite lab/specimen collection, including drug and alcohol screening.
• Conduct rapid testing (e.g., strep, UTI, flu, glucose levels).
• Provide case management to reduce absenteeism and support recovery.
• Coordinate vaccinations, wellness programs, and health education sessions.
• Collaborate with PCPs/specialists for early diagnosis and ongoing care.
• Manage clinical operations: supplies, records, protocols, and compliance (CLIA).
• Support workers compensation cases and coordinate second opinions.
• Deliver patient education, crisis intervention, and general medical guidance to HR/Safety teams.

Required Qualifications:
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Registered/licensed by the State of Pennsylvania Board of Physicians/Board of Nursing.
• National Board Certification.
• Minimum 2 years related experience (adult medicine).
