DescriptionActioNet is looking for a System Administrator role provides hands-on technical support in a classified environment, responsible for installing, configuring, securing, and maintaining Windows and Linux systems, networks, and associated hardware and software. The position includes building systems from bare metal, managing authentication services, performing backups, monitoring security events, troubleshooting failures across multiple sites, and ensuring full compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community security standards. The administrator also contributes to cybersecurity program execution, documentation, automation, and performance optimization while supporting distributed systems and infrastructure-as-code tools. Strong customer engagement, leadership, communication, and the ability to prioritize workloads in fast-paced, mission-critical environments are essential. The role requires onsite support 90% of the time, limited travel, U.S. citizenship, and an active or obtainable TS//SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
