Position Overview We are searching for an adept and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding cohort of imaging specialists dedicated to providing superior care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures, engage wholeheartedly with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and offer reassuring insights to patients through accurate imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, clearly explaining each step
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly
- Document all procedures accurately and maintain clear records within our electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and current best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
