Sales Representative - Surgical
Zimmer Biomet
Zimmer Biomet seeks a Sales Representative to drive surgical product sales within an assigned territory in Portland, Oregon. The role involves building relationships with clinical stakeholders, achieving revenue targets, and delivering product expertise in hospital and surgery center settings.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across hospitals, surgery centers, and healthcare systems
- Conduct product demonstrations and clinical value discussions with surgeons, OR staff, and hospital leadership
- Deliver hands-on training and in-services to educate clinical personnel on product use and safety
- Support customers before, during, and after surgical procedures; troubleshoot product issues and address inquiries
- Analyze sales and market data to develop territory strategy and forecast volume potential
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field preferred
- 0-3+ years of medical device or healthcare sales experience, or 2+ years clinical case coverage
- Valid driver's license
- Consultative sales process knowledge and formalized sales training experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laptop computers
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven mentality with demonstrated sales track record
Compensation: 100% commission plus uncapped bonus plan; target earnings $100,000+ with 10% bonus
