Position Details:

Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
School-based contract opportunity
Supporting Elementary age students
Collaborative special education and related services teams

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Provide specialized instruction in accordance with student goals and state standards
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Special Education Teaching Certifications- 
Illinois PEL and LBS1
Previous school-based special education experience preferred
New graduates and experienced special education teachers encouraged to apply
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Positive professional references from the past two years
