Outpatient Physical Therapist - 5x8 Schedule

Location: Southwest Littleton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 6-month contract position.

Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts starting December 21st.

Job Description: The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs and goals. This role requires providing comprehensive care to two patients per hour, with individualized attention lasting 45 minutes or more per patient, ensuring effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one care during initial evaluations and safety patient sessions, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate patients, families, and colleagues while actively participating in the training of students as needed.
• Maintain adherence to the clinic's guidelines, including those related to personal appearance and attendance.
• Engage in professional development and keep licensure current by completing continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to the clinic's performance improvement initiatives through feedback and participation in improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Colorado.
