RN - Educator

Med Surg Tele Educator

This is a 13-week contract position.

AM Shift: 07:00 – 17:30, 4 × 9.5-hour shifts per week, totaling 38 hours.

The Med Surg Tele Educator will be responsible for providing educational support and training to nursing staff in a medical-surgical telemetry environment. The role requires expertise in both clinical practice and education to enhance staff competencies in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement educational programs for nursing staff.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure adherence to best practices in patient care.
• Provide one-on-one and group training sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSN-ED) is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary; Instructor certifications for BLS and ACLS are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
