Job Description Are you an EXPERIENCED medical assistant (Certified) looking for a compassionate and caring team to work with? If so, apply with us to interview for a career with our established and growing team in the Baton Rouge area today! Responsibilities Greeting and assisting patients Rooming patients Patient intake (& EMR documenting) Patient vitals Preparing patient files Data entry and filing Rooming Making appointments Aiding office staff as needed Qualifications 1-2 years of related medical assistant experience and certification Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Must have excellent patient relation and customer services skills Must have open availability to work a designated 40 hour schedule weekly Valid Driver's License (Required) Reliable transportation is required.
