Ray's is seeking a dedicated and organized Grocery Person In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily grocery operations at our Prineville location. The Grocery PIC will ensure the grocery department runs smoothly, maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and excellent customer service.

Location: Ray's 1535 NE 3rd St. Prineville, OR 97754

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate grocery department staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Maintain proper stock levels, organize product displays, and ensure shelves are fully stocked and clean.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, removing expired or damaged items promptly.
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Conduct inventory counts and assist with ordering to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Train and mentor grocery department team members.
• Collaborate with management to implement promotions and merchandising strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grocery retail or a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and ordering systems.
• Ability to lift and move products as needed.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
