Job Summary:
The Nursing Professional specializes in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) in Burlington, Massachusetts. This position involves providing care in a 7-bed central unit focusing on orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and complex medical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role entails 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend work. Prior experience with Epic electronic medical records and level 1 trauma is essential.

Job Details:

• Location: Burlington, MA
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and every other weekend required
• Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts nursing license, 2 years of relevant experience, Epic electronic medical records experience, level 1 trauma experience, BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA certifications, and must not have been employed by or contracted with the organization in the past 6 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel nursing experience is preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Day one pass/fail testing will be administered
  • Relias practice assessments are available via Relias
  • Patient population includes orthopedics, neuro, trauma, complex medical patients, with specific precautions and equipment used daily including ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, lumex, PCAs, CADD pumps, peripheral nerve catheters, and various drips such as heparin, diltiazem, and morphine
  • Ability to perform IVs and phleb collections, with services available for support
  • Responsibilities include supporting and educating students and new hires, fostering a supportive team culture
