RN - PCU

PCU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour shifts (Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage is required.

We are seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a progressive care unit setting. The ideal candidate will have the skills and knowledge required to manage critical care stepdown, neuro/stroke patients, and cardiac patients. This position requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage cardiac telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing role, preferably in a PCU or critical care setting.
• Current South Carolina RN licensure.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably EPIC.
