Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and Epic charting proficiency. Details Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting Performs left and right diagnostic and interventional heart caths, pacemaker and AICD implants, loop recorders, impellas, balloon pumps, TEEs, cardioversions, and tilt table procedures Cares for STEMI patients and performs peripheral IV access Uses IV pumps, groin and radial sheaths, impellas, balloon pumps, IVUS, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, Zoll monitor, and hemodynamic systems Epic charting required 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of cath lab RN experience required 2 years of acute care RN experience required Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Experience with Epic charting required Proficiency with impella, balloon pump, IVUS, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic system operation required Additional Information Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for cath lab patients Provides patient and family education related to cath lab procedures and discharge Mentors and precepts staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and organizational needs Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives Pay $2,468/wk Assignment Total (14 Weeks) $34,552 Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks) $128,336 Weekly Wages $1,152/wk Regular Hours $32.00 x 36 hours/wk = $1,152 Weekly Stipends $1,316/wk Lodging $120.00 x 7 days = $840 Meals & Incidentals
