New Home Consultant

New Home Consultant Trainee Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to quality homes and exceptional customer service. Overview The New Home Consultant Trainee will operate a Welcome Home Center under the guidance of a mentor, generating a robust sales pipeline, engaging with customers to process sale agreements, and closing new home sales. Responsibilities Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs. Self‑generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting. Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics. Provide consistent follow‑through with customers from initial contact to post‑closing, maintaining accurate communication records. Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs. Ensure maintenance of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes. Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks. Tools & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools. Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours. Requires ability to work more than eight hours per day in confined construction trailer spaces, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment potentially over 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment and use of a computer keyboard and calculator may be required.
