Field Operations Manager

Overview Lennard Ag Company, a multi-site operation, is hiring a Field Operations Manager in Howe, IN to be a hands-on leader who oversees daily field operations to keep people, equipment, and resources running efficiently. This role focuses on maximizing productivity, minimizing downtime, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and develop a field team of local and seasonal employees to achieve production goals. Oversee daily operations in the field including scheduling, equipment use, and quality control. Ensure efficient use and maintenance of equipment; coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance. Monitor production processes and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient operations. Maintain safety, compliance, and operational standards including food safety and recordkeeping. Prepare equipment and facilities for upcoming seasons, ensuring all systems are in top working condition. Support process improvement and efficiency initiatives to optimize productivity. Qualifications Experience in operations leadership or field supervision in construction, forestry, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, or other hands-on industries. Strong mechanical ability; be able to perform in-the-moment troubleshooting and repairs along with basic electrical knowledge. Proven ability to lead teams, plan work, and solve problems in dynamic environments. Organized, safety-minded, and reliable under time-sensitive conditions. Minimum of a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred). We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience.
