Essential Responsibilities:

• Produces innovative and diversified menus that reflect the overall vision.
• Trains the kitchen staff to adhere to policies and general sanitation regulations.
• Organizes, schedules, and directs the work of the kitchen staff, ensuring that kitchen operations are carried out quickly and effectively.
• Ensures that hygiene and food safety requirements are met.
• Maintains kitchen inventory and assigned budget.
• Assists in ordering product from multiple suppliers
• Inventory management
• Assists in maintaining budgetary expectations
• Cooking on the line
• Maintaining waste-not compliance
• Planning and organizing catering events
• To be in charge of and organize the safety committee
• Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
• Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Performs work under minimal supervision.

• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
• Requires an associates degree in related field and 2 to 4 years of experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Medium Work: Occasionally exerting up to 50 lbs - constantly exerting up to 10 lbs. 26-50% of the day may be standing or walking.
