Position: CT/X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a qualified CT/X-Ray Technologist for a backfill contract position in Leander, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This position is a 13-week contract with rotating weekend shifts.

Shift Details

Shifts: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

  • Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Unit Information

Location: Leander, TX
  • Number of Beds: 10
  • Staff Composition:

    • 1 Imaging Technologist
    • 2 Nurses
    • 1 Lab Technician
  • Patient Ratios: Varies
  • Equipment:

    • GE 64 CT scanner
    • Konica digital XR room
    • Konica digital portable
  • Electronic Medical Records: Meditech, Synapse PACS
  • Permanent Positions Available: Yes
Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
  • ARRT (R)(CT) Certification
  • Texas Medical Board (TMB) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills are preferred:
  • Trauma Experience
Typical Procedures

The technologist will perform various emergency department examinations. The scope of work includes:
  • A comprehensive range of imaging procedures
  • No outpatient responsibilities

Dress Code

Scrub attire is required:
  • Top: Sage Green Scrub
  • Bottom: Black Scrub
  • Optional: All black scrubs for contract labor, black or sage jackets only
