Duties include client relationships, marketing, internal administration, financial management, and employee development. This role is key in developing new work opportunities by identifying new leads, establishing new business contacts, potentially acting as proposal champion and/or capture manager for new pursuits in Education, Aviation, Healthcare and Justice.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead construction efforts in accordance with the client’s program policies and proceduresDevelop an implementation plan and master schedule that reflects the priorities of the clientResponsible for timely completion of all deliverables required by the clientFinancial reporting to the client and the bond oversight committeeDevelop and review contract documentsReport and collaborate with client’s senior management team on all project mattersDocument and report all program/project data accurately and in a timely mannerTrack all program and project level status and provide management reports relative to scheduling, cost control, staffing and other related contract requirementsCreate and present program and project data clearly to multiple internal and external stakeholder groupsPerform other related duties as assigned to ensure program and project successEnsure contractor, architect, engineer, and all other consultants will adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipmentHas primary responsibility for establishing/updating hit list; conducting hit list research; developing relationships; identifying team composition; developing proposals; preparing for interviews; developing the fee proposalHas secondary responsibility for establishing/updating prospect list; making decision to submit proposal; determining joint venture and/or subconsultant participation; proposal productionMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related degree is required12+ years of construction experience providing project / program management servicesExperience in managing the full construction of education construction project life-cycle: including pre-construction, design phases, and oversight of constructability reviews is requiredKnowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices are requiredStrong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project related scheduling systems such as MS Project or Primavera are requiredPreferredExperience in alternative project delivery methods including Design-Build Experience in maximizing the benefits of Building Information Modeling (BIM) Experience in application of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Registration as Architect or Professional Engineer license Certified Construction Manager (CCM) DBIA - Design Build Associate, or Professional certification BenefitsVanir offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package that includes 401(k) Savings with employer matching contributions, medical, dental, vision, health savings account (HSA) with employer contributions, life, AD&D and disability benefits, flexible spending account (FSA), voluntary benefits, Teladoc, pet insurance, paid time off, national employee assistance program (EAP) and employee referral program.How to ApplyIf you're interested in working for Vanir please visit our website to learn more and to apply online at .VEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran ReferralsEOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/DisabledContact Email: View email address on click.appcast.io with medical limitations may, with reasonable accommodations, be capable of performing the duties of this position.
