Compensation $120,000.00 - $145,000.00/year Job Description Project Manager – Lead Municipal Infrastructure and Civil Construction Projects Job Overview Salary/Pay Rate: $120,000 - $145,000 per year (based on experience) Location: Kings Park, NY (Onsite) Job/Employment Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday - Friday Project Scope: Municipal, State, and Federal Government Construction Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required The Opportunity You will serve as a vital leader for a family-owned company with a 40-year legacy of excellence in civil construction. This role offers you the chance to manage high-impact municipal projects while working directly with a leadership team that values accountability over corporate red tape. How You Will Make an Impact Direct all phases of municipal construction projects from initial groundbreaking through to final completion. Coordinate seamlessly with architects, engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure exact project specifications. Develop comprehensive project schedules and manage million-dollar budgets to maintain cost-effective operations. Select and oversee specialized subcontractors to ensure every phase of the build meets rigorous quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed project reports for clients and senior management. Resolve real-time technical and logistical site issues to prevent delays and ensure strict project delivery. Negotiate contracts and manage change orders to protect project integrity and company resources. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar leadership role. Proven experience managing municipal construction contracts including local, State, and Federal projects. Strong proficiency in project management software, specifically MS Project and Bluebeam. High School Diploma or GED. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and budgets simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. OSHA 10 certification. Deep knowledge of local building regulations and safety protocols specific to the New York region. Deep knowledge of NYC park projects is a major plus for upcoming projects.
