Position Overview
Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Echocardiographer / Cardiac Echo Technologist to join the cardiovascular team at Northwest Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland . In this role, you will perform diagnostic echocardiographic procedures to assist physicians in the evaluation and diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions.
Working closely with cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate cardiac imaging and supporting high-quality patient care. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $75,000 to $110,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to work within a collaborative and patient-centered cardiovascular program.
Required Qualifications- Education meeting requirements for applicable cardiovascular or echocardiography certification .
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in echocardiography, cardiac imaging, or a related cardiovascular specialty.
- Current certification in one of the following preferred credential pathways:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross .
The ideal candidate is a technically proficient cardiovascular professional with strong echocardiography experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary cardiac care team.
