Job Title: Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00 (Days, 3x12s)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: Must have Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission; BLS; ACLS; 2 yrs of RN experience; Strong cardiac tele/stepdown experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmia; Experience working with CVSD patients and telemetry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cardiac patients post-ICU in the stepdown setting.
• Provide care for patients with chest tubes and dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with healthcare team on patient progress and treatment plans.
• Document patient care using EPIC, including either CLIN DOC ACCELERATED or CLIN DOC 2 DAY classes based on EPIC experience.
• Assist in patient education and family communication regarding care plans.
