Die Cutter Operator

Job OpportunityWe are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Die Cutter Operator to join our client's team in their manufacturing department. The successful person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and successful manufacturing process.Responsibilities:Operates Offline Die Cutter Machine to develop end-result printed material in accordance with customer specificationsOperate Die Cutter machine, troubleshoot and monitor operationPrepares Die Cutter by performing a variety of tasks to produce a consistent, high quality product by adjusting the die and register for pressure and cuttingPerform a variety of make ready tasks for high productivity and precision operations, resolves defects and adjustments to produce high quality productOversee General technicians working on equipmentMake adjustments, clear jams, while processing product, maintaining speed and qualityEnsure efficient and rapid make ready, with unloading and loadingRequirements:High School diploma (or GED)Offline Die Cutting experienceMinimum of 3 years of offline Die Cutting experience in the folding carton industryExperience with die cutters that have blanking capabilityBasic computer and mathematical skills (computing percentages, weights and measures)Ability to operate Die Cutter machines, troubleshoot, and monitor operationsPhysical Demands:Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending and/or reaching, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and armsHearing and speakingFrequent lifting in excess of 60 lbsMust be able to hold, touch, feel and manipulate with hands product and equipment in a safe mannerManual dexterity is requiredUse of close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus and good eye-hand coordinationMust be able to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needsPreferred:Interpersonal and communication skillsBasic computer skillsLeadership and team management skillsKnowledge of ISO standards and quality objectivesFamiliarity with cGMP, HACCP Food Safety Requirements, and Chain of Custody Program RequirementsHR Recruiting Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
