Regional Operations ManagerClassification: ExemptOur MissionFor almost a century, KLA’s mission is to create value by delivering world-class communications solutions.Your ImpactThe Regional Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of the Region to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency. This position oversees the development and execution of a wide range of projects and proposals across all verticals supported by KLA. The Regional Operations Manager will organize and oversee numerous programs and projects simultaneously assuring their completion in a timely, efficient manner from initial client meeting through client acceptance.A Glimpse of What You’ll DoOversee the management of the Region’s productivity to ensure project turnaround times, expand client confidence, and build long-term relationships with external stakeholdersManage processes and work-flow throughout the region, implementing best practices to optimize efficiencies and the profitability of KLA’s programs and projectsInteract regularly with leadership to ensure the Region’s operational priorities are aligned with KLA goals and directivesWork closely with Human Resources to ensure compliance with KLA policies, procedures, and practicesConsult with Director of Human Resources and Director of Operations regarding labor issues including safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, etc.Oversee Regional budgets as well as controls and refines project specific expensesManage client-partner relationships to drive project progress from inception to completion and leverages current and future contacts for further growth across all verticals supported by KLACollaborate with Design Engineers and Operations staff to understand the specification of a projectCollect and evaluates quotes from subcontractors supporting KLACreate estimates, quotes, schedules and timelines for prospective jobs for new and existing clientsOversee installation teams to ensure a balance of workload and targeted productive hoursAct as onsite Manager to ensure client deliverables and expectations are metCollaborate with purchasing and warehouse department for vendor selection and to ensure products are received in a timely mannerLead project status meetings with clients and/or contractorsObtains permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesResponsible for oversight of all projects through project close and client acceptanceMaintain the ability to manage multiple projects with various clients simultaneouslyManages workforce safety and production for site projectsDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsTravels to various local or out of state/country locations with short notice to meet with clients for potential quotes or customer emergenciesLeverages existing contacts and future customers to grow opportunities across all verticals supported by KLAPerform other incidental and related duties as requiredWhat You BringGreat communication and customer service skillsExceptional time management skills, ability to estimate work effort and time needed for various construction jobsMust possess strong writing skills for proposals and reportsTechnical & business acumen, understands construction methods, contracts, and blueprintsWorking proficiency with all MS Office toolsAbility to operate independently, exercises appropriate judgementEthical ConductGreat availability with a sense of urgencyTeam player with leadership abilitiesBachelor’s degree preferredThree or more years’ professional experience in project management in the telecommunications industryAdditional InformationFull-time position.
