Club Attendant

The role of Club Attendant This part‑time opportunity, with potential for a full‑time role, reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for maintaining the club’s pristine condition during our hours of operation. The successful candidate is an expert in cleanliness and efficiency, takes pride in their work, and is personable and customer‑service oriented. Responsibilities Ensure the club is clean, organized, and well‑presented throughout the day. Conduct frequent walk‑throughs of the building to ensure all areas are tidy, sanitized, and well‑stocked. Perform routine maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning, restocking amenities and supplies, part replacements, and laundry. Reference daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checklists and follow the schedule to meet all duties efficiently and in a timely manner. Restock towels and linens in all rooms of the facility. Prepare rooms for classes: ensure floors and mirrors are clean, space is tidy and welcoming, temperature, shades, and lighting are adjusted appropriately, and equipment is set up and put away. Deliver lavender towels for designated classes. Ensure that all entry‑ways, lobbies/receptions, and common areas are clean and presentable. Clean studios and equipment routinely throughout the day, especially before and after classes; continually clean the open workout area equipment and floors. Monitor and sanitize bathrooms and shower rooms, and replenish amenities as needed. Empty trash receptacles, dispose of trash into dumpsters, and bag trash for proper disposal. Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and report needs and concerns to appropriate staff, including submitting or recommending work orders and reordering supplies. Perform cleaning functions specific to assigned areas and/or based on seasonal/project requirements. Carry out minor and preventative maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, replacing air and water filters, adjusting furniture, and other similar handyman activities. Receive shipments, unbox items, check inventory received, store items, and discard packing materials. Qualifications Good time management skills, attention to detail, clear and effective communication, an outgoing and positive mindset, and the ability to work as a team quickly and efficiently. Possesses a can‑do attitude, takes pride in her work, cares for the happiness and well‑being of members, and maintains constant concern for the condition of the facility. Demonstrates reliability, dependability, a strong work ethic, takes direction well, and takes initiative when necessary; committed to upholding the guiding values of the organization. Exhibits a desire to actively pursue continued learning and professional growth. 1+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred. 1+ years of experience in the hospitality industry is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Job may require the use of a ladder. Schedule Requirements Flexible schedule and available to work weekends (7 am‑4 pm). Weekday morning shifts that begin as early as 7 am. Afternoon shifts that end as late as 8 pm.
