Devises approach to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitors work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*** Creates design studies and concepts for the strength and economy of structural design which conforms to the needs and requirements of the customer.* Conduct basic land surveys for military projects, including measuring distances, elevations, and angles using total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, levels, and tapes.* Prepare and revise CAD drawings, as-built plans, and schematics for MILCON projects, ensuring compliance with DoD standards, and installation design requirements* Interprets and adapts traditional methods and approaches in developing design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specifications that support project objectives and standards.* Provides procedural technique systems as required in support of the construction program.* Provides immediate solutions of problems at site for on-going construction issues.* Supports the workforce with structural technical advice and assistance.**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:*** High School Diploma or GED required* Five (5) or more years’ experience in the engineering/construction management industry.* Must have experience with the design and supervision of a project with the aid of AutoCAD/Civil 3d software, and previous experience with up-grading and maintenance of existing civil facilities.**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:*** Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License* Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)* Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Jordan* Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.* Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*** Must have thorough knowledge of civil/structural design and engineering techniques.* Must be proficient in creating designs for local construction contractors to complete and meet the requirements of the client.* Must be capable of complete design services including structural load determination, planning, and sitting.**TRAVEL:** 100% Deployed to location**SECURITY CLEARANCE:** Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance**Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC**Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC.
