Your Future Duties And Responsibilities:

As part of an interdisciplinary cloud-engineering team, you will take responsibility within projects and services in close cooperation with your architecture colleagues and our customers. In this activity, you will implement modern cloud technologies, live the cloud-first mindset and implement the dev(sec)ops culture, processes and tools. Your tasks include:

• You use cloud-based platforms like Microsoft Azure
• You speak infrastructure as code (IaC) and live "automate everything" (primarily based on Terraform)
• You know the portfolio of the cloud provider and know the advantages and disadvantages of the different solutions – IaaS or Paas? SaaS or marketplace offering?
• You support in "shared service" areas that are essential for every environment – network (DNS, firewalling, load balancing), monitoring & logging, OS operation (primarily Linux), CI/CD pipelines, etc.
• You want to develop along the Azure certification path in a team with over 70 experts. First experiences in your tasks are important to us, but experience in all areas is not necessarily required. You are a system engineer or Linux admin and want to start your development as a cloud engineer? In all your tasks, you will always be supported by your team and our principle architects and senior engineers. Let's plan your development plan together with your mentors!

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role:

In addition to your passion for cloud engineering, you bring an information technology study or a comparable education and professional experience in the implementation of IT architectures in conjunction with cloud-based services and platforms. You also bring the following skills:

• Knowledge of the methodologies of the agile approach and dev(sec)ops culture
• Knowledge of the current cloud service portfolios of the big players (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Professional communication skills in German and English
• High self-responsibility and proactivity
• Certifications for Azure or Terraform are advantageous
