We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced LabVantage Business Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of LabVantage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, scientists, QA teams, and IT to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and ensure that LabVantage solutions align with organizational needs. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced LabVantage Business Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of LabVantage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, scientists, QA teams, and IT to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and ensure that LabVantage solutions align with organizational needs. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2-4+ years working specifically with LabVantage LIMS .
- Strong understanding of laboratory processes in pharmaceutical, biotech, or research environments.
- Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation practices.
- Proficient in creating user stories, business process flows, and functional specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies, especially Agile.
- Understanding of system integrations (e.g., instruments, ERP, ELN, MES).
- Experience with SQL or scripting languages for data analysis or reporting.
- LabVantage certification or hands-on experience with LabVantage 8.x version. - Added/Preferred
- Act as the liaison between scientific/business teams and technical teams for LabVantage LIMS projects.
- Gather, document, and analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Assist in the configuration and customization of LabVantage to support laboratory workflows.
- Develop and execute test plans, and support validation efforts including IQ/OQ/PQ.
- Support data migration, integration with instruments, and other enterprise systems.
- Facilitate user training and create end-user documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with the technical team for resolution.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
