Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Allentown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support residents, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while contributing to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating issues through proper channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting security-related incidents and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site expectations.
- Support a respectful residential environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating clearly with residents, guests, and on-site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
