AR Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day AR activities and help maintain accurate customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on AR or billing experience who is comfortable researching account discrepancies, communicating with customers, and working within an ERP system. Responsibilities Post and apply customer payments accurately and timely. Reconcile customer accounts and research payment or account discrepancies. Process credit memos and other account adjustments. Review customer accounts on hold and work to resolve outstanding issues. Monitor aging reports and identify past-due balances requiring follow-up. Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and outstanding balances. Research unapplied or incorrectly applied payments. Partner with internal teams to resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation and customer account records. Assist with additional AR and billing activities as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of Accounts Receivable, billing, or related accounting experience. Hands-on experience working within an ERP system. Experience with cash application, account reconciliations, and customer collections preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to research and resolve discrepancies. Comfortable communicating directly with customers regarding account issues and past-due balances. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred.
